Our Story
Products That Count began with the vision of an innovator who built products that were used by billions of people during her time at Facebook and Nokia. One day, she was asked a challenging question; “what makes a great product?” SC Moatti, Products That Count founder, set out to find the answer.

Our Founder
Founder | SC Moatti
SC Moatti is a technology visionary, entrepreneur and investor. She is the founding partner of Mighty Capital, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm – and Products That Count, a global community of product managers, leaders & founders. Previously, she built products that billions of people use at Facebook, Nokia and Electronic Arts. Andrew Chen, General Partner at Andreessen-Horowitz, called SC “a genius at making mobile products people love.”

Laurel Koegel
In my career so far I’ve been fortunate to work under some big names in the tech industry who are startup visionaries and serial founders. I’m excited to bring those learnings to Products That Count. My primary areas of focus are the podcast program, speaker series, and executive salons where I interface with our talent, venue hosts, Heads of Chapter and podcast teams to coordinate events and help to ensure these core programs run smoothly and efficiently through planning to presenting phases.

Katherine Kornas is VP of Growth at Betterment, where she leads new customer acquisition and engagement with a team composed of marketers and product managers. Prior to joining Betterment, she was SVP, Product at Havenly and held product leadership positions at Pandora and Autodesk. Katherine has also worked on product teams at Dictionary.com and GreatSchools. Katherine is a graduate of the University of Michigan and currently lives in New York City.

Nita Maheswaren
I’m passionate about taking new products to market, driving product strategy and winning in a competitive market. Complexity just adds to the fun! I’ve served in various technical and leadership roles in my past decade at IBM and Pivotree. My background and experience enable me to seamlessly switch between big picture thinking and handling fire-drills all in the same hour.
Neha Taleja
Neha is the Director of Product at Prezi. She’s built product teams that are driven by data, empathy and effective cross-functional collaboration resulting in products that have lead to purposeful pleasant product experiences, provided actionable insights to decision makers, and empowered teams to achieve success metrics. Neha also had the honor to contribute in the non-profit sector, bridging access to quality education gap in under served communities in over 13 countries. She loves to travel and lives in South San Francisco to stay close to the airport 🙂

Christina Lucey
Christina is a product leader with a passion for crafting. After six internships and four years studying computer science at the University of Waterloo, she found product management. After a few years of building a foundation in execution, she launched her first product at BlackBerry in 2011. Since then she been hooked on crafting new digital things ever since. Her efforts on growth and mobile helped propel Yammer towards acquisition. Following that, Christina headed up product at early stage companies twice. Currently she’s at Credit Karma where she is the leader for new product initiatives. When she’s not crafting products or podcasting, you can find her reading, cooking, working on her fitness, or channeling her inner Martha Stewart.
Nikki Ahmadi
Nikki is a cloud and software product Director who works with a global team of talented engineers and architects in designing and implementing innovative solutions from product inception to production. After spending over a decade working in product engineering and management for multimillion dollar technology and start-up companies, Nikki believes what truly drives innovation is not only a commitment to technological breakthroughs but also people’s passion in improving everyday lives by building products that leave a lasting impact, disrupt the industry, and are vehicles of change, while providing the best user experience. When Nikki isn’t working on her next big product release or entrepreneurial endeavors she is spending much needed time with friends and family discussing the latest politics, or simply the meaning of life. She’s an adventurous traveler who also enjoys capturing moments through photography. Nikki also holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering , M.S. in Electrical Engineering and has a corporate innovation certificate as part of the LEAD program.
Samantha Scott
Samantha Scott has carved an active history in product management, starting with NexJ Systems and moving from AppNexus to Etsy. Samantha is currently pursuing an MBA at Harvard Business School to further enhance her business acumen. Prior to that, she was the Director of Product Management at Capsule, a healthcare technology that provides clinical surveillance and medical device integration. Her career is backed by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Before delving into products and product management, Samantha served as Toronto Hydro’s Compliance and Quality Analyst and TD’s Business Analyst.
Thomas Daly
Thomas Daly is Principal Product Manager at Samsung NEXT leading zero to one initiatives. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Product Officer for Spacious.com, which was later acquired by The We Company (WeWork). Before that, Daly was at Samsung Electronics by way of an acquisition of BOXEE, a TV-connected streaming device. He has worked in various product roles for nearly 15 years.
