As Target’s first chief digital and product officer, I lead a team focused on creating the top digital experience in retail and driving meaningful long-term business growth. With a deep understanding of Target guests’ needs and wants, and through collaboration across the enterprise, our digital teams are helping redefine what’s possible for Target’s digital experience and charting new paths to our goals with a “digital-first” mindset. Target's digital business includes site merchandising, user experience, digital operations and product, and Target+. My role offers an incredible opportunity to support our industry-leading product teams across the company. Through a culture of optimism for what’s possible, our team fosters creativity, collaboration and, ultimately, drives innovation. In previous roles, I have taken on projects in which I have led enterprise product management and experience teams, accelerated digital strategies by modernizing platforms and more. As part of that, I engaged in critical consumer experience enhancements like the redesign of a company's mobile app and the launch of same-day home delivery for its pharmacy business. I received a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Madras and hold a master’s degree in business administration in global leadership and innovation from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. I also serve on the board of directors for Frontier Communications.
