SAN FRANCISCO, Feburary 6, 2023 — Products That Count announces the 2023 Product Awards, celebrating the best products for Product Managers. Products That Count also introduces the second annual Global CPO 20, recognizing the top 20 Chief Product Officers in the world. These awards celebrate the expanding influence of product management across industries and within leading companies.

“The bar for what makes a great product gets higher every year,” says Products That Count Founding CEO SC Moatti. “Today’s product companies are digital natives embedding technology from day one. They are building products that are more than simply tools – they are channels helping startups engage customers for sustained growth.”

The 2023 Product Awards are produced by Products That Count, a global platform that accelerates the career of >300,000 product managers, in collaboration with Capgemini, a global business and technology transformation company, and Mighty Capital, the go-to venture capital firm for product-first companies. This year will mark the 6th annual Product Awards, and will honor the best products for product managers in select industry verticals. The verticals are: B2B Tech, FinTech, Life Sciences, and IoT, with special categories in Sustainability and the Quebec region.

“The Product Awards celebrate what we see as the leading sectors for product innovation,” says Mighty Capital Partner Jennifer Vancini. “Great products drive revenue with product-led growth, reduce costs with no-code tools, and increase productivity by facilitating better asynchronous collaboration.”

Independent Awards Advisory Board

Leading the selection process are twelve product leaders making up an independent Awards Advisory Board.  The Board members represent diverse industries, geographies, and backgrounds, from leading companies like Intuit, Macy’s, Oscar Health, and Fidelity Investments.

Past award winners include Amplitude, Zoom, Canela, and DigitalOcean. Winners will be celebrated across the Products That Count network, which reaches more than 20% of all product managers globally. Over 4,000 nominations have already been received.

Meanwhile, Products That Count has also collected hundreds of nominations for the second annual Global CPO 20, celebrating the 20 most influential and innovative Chief Product Officers across the globe. This awards ceremony will recognize the growing impact of the CPO now and in the future.

“Capgemini recognizes that the product function is now an important consideration for the C-suite at Fortune 1000 companies, and we are proud to have supported these initiatives from the early days,” said Lisa Mitnick, Intelligent Products & Services Group Offer Leader at Capgemini. “Product leaders transform business models, unleash innovation, and improve customer experience.”

Products That Count will honor winners of the Product Awards in an online ceremony to air on March 9th, 2023. CPO 20 winners will be invited to in-person festivities on April 19th in San Francisco. Products That Count will also soon announce smaller regional celebrations. For more information, visit
