The Product Awards Operate category is in good hands with Britt Myers. Here’s what he had to say about his category:

Why did this category speak to you?

For Myers, it’s all about execution > ideas.

“Ideas are great. However, companies and teams live and die by their execution,” said Myers. “How we operate as a team is critically important. Otherwise, all those great ideas don’t matter.”

What characteristics must a product have to be award-worthy for this category?

On Product Talk, Myers went into greater detail on the four aspects of Operation for Product Managers. However, he kept it short and simple for his answer here in regards to the Operate nominees of the Product Awards.

“Deep integration with third-party tools.”

What product deserves a lifetime achievement award for this category?

Subsequently, it’s not a surprise what his response was to this question.

“Zapier.”

And without further adieu, the Nominees for the Product Awards Operate category are…
