Ankush is a product leader with over a decade of experience in building and deploying dozens of B2B/B2C products worldwide. Currently, he leads the Communication Experiences for Gen AI and Monetization Products at Meta for the Family of Apps (IG/Msgr) and Reality Labs (VR, AR). He holds multiple patents in AR, VR, NFT, and Real-Time Communication. Prior to Meta, Ankush was the Director of Product at Synopsys, where he led their Static Verification Enterprise products for customers globally with cross-functional teams in the USA, China, India, Israel, Europe, and Sri Lanka. He built and managed a world-class team of over 100 people from scratch in the USA, India, Europe, China, and Sri Lanka to manage and scale over 400 enterprise customers. He drove multiple high-impact initiatives, including post-integration of a multi-million dollar acquisition and grew the new business with double-digit growth, launching a 3rd party app ecosystem, pioneering in the EDA industry, and driving new innovation initiatives in cloud and machine learning. Ankush was also a co-founder of two startups: ekriti (eBay for handmade products) and Sparsha (SaaS-based Virtual Education Simulation) companies. He is an investor and advisor in multiple startups. In addition, Ankush is the President and CEO of BITS Pilani, Silicon Valley Chapter, with over 8K alumni in the Bay Area. He has an MBA from UCLA Anderson Business School, USA, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, India.
