What’s your favorite product and why?
There’s one tool for Patrick Blute that stands above the rest.
“I was an early user of Squarespace and to this day I frequently find myself using the tool for new endeavors. I especially love utilizing their new analytics feature. It’s clean, simple, and infinitely useful.”
Why does product management matter to you, Patrick Blute?
“Quality products define the processes that allow people to share, experience, and create. As digital becomes even more ubiquitous with our everyday experience, finding ways to infuse sustainability, arts, and humanities into the digital conversation is my passion.”
What makes a great product?
“A great product gives. It could give you time back by completing a task. Or, it could give you energy by tracking performance. A great product inspires you to try something in a new way. It could also help you discover, curate, or try new things. If a product gives, it can become great.”
What makes a great product manager?
“A great product manager balances today and tomorrow. They blend how should we accomplish this with how can we carve a better path for everyone involved. The job is about listening and intercepting the needs beyond the airwaves. It’s the most impactful piece of the puzzle – bridging the gap and having the calm to weather any storm.”
